Naming a child is one of the most exciting and most difficult one in terms of pregnancy and having a baby. You need some brainstorming to come up with the best name for your child.

In my case, I have consulted my Mom and Ate in choosing the best for our Bibong Baby. I have considered all their suggestions and advice to come up with the name. I personally want a single name for my child. I am not a fan of long names or with second or third names. But I want a name and identity of my family as well. My mom’s name is aurora and my ate’s is Aura , I want to include my Tatay’s name (modified) as well.

When I had my CAS (Congenital Anomaly Scan) on the 19th week of pregnancy, and gender was also revealed by my OB, yeah it’s a baby BOY! Since then, Araw araw na may suggestions ang nanay at ate ko sa GC namin. We unanimously think of something na Malapit sa names nila and since this is a Baby boy, kelangan sounds masculine and yes hindi pwedeng single name lang 🤣. Aside from a good sounding name kelangan maganda din ang meaning. Inisip ko din dapat unique to avoid NBI Hit eme eme na name 🤣…

All sounds good. But only Aurus have a particular meaning when we checked sa google and some books. There’s a Russian luxurious automotive brand also whic spells the same. Kaya ayun, final is AURUS .

Naming is important kasi magiging identity nya yun for life. Choosing that, Okay na ako. I involved my Ate and Nanay because they are so important to me and sila ang makakasama at makakatuwamg ko sa pagpapalaki sa baby ko. We are happy with our choice of name.
